not true i worked in a few in different states that were very professional and they SHUT them down to make them into minimal security prisons. Years ago they were awful. The Never stand between a woman and her Dr Pepper shirt we have now forces mentally ill people to live and function just like people who aren't mentally ill which is fine if you don't want people to be burden to society and to reduce social spending but in practice it's not a good idea. the sad part of the families who have a family member with mental illness have barely any recourse to help them due to stupid laws. The programs lack and medicines have to be giving properly and even adjusted to see if they work. Sad sad sad. But we also can’t blame mental ill people and not give them time. They need to be incarcerated.
